One World, one Application, one Folder

I have always liked apple's way of handling applications for the user. You would have all relevant files within one directory.Installing is then a simple copying the file into a specific folder (but you don't have to). To uninstall software you would just remove that directory. No bells no whistles. Now there is a project, that aims for the same easy access to applications with linux: Klik enables you to install software as user simply by cp'ing a single file. This is a compressed image which will unpack itself when openend into a temporary dir (I guess). I should have a closer look at it.
